Our Story
A.G.A.P.E. Chicago 773 NFP is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization founded in 2022 by a close-knit family of five siblings and two loving parents, all born and raised in the South Side of Chicago. As children, we learned the value of prayer, hard work, compassion, and helping others through our God-fearing parents and grandmothers. They instilled in us a love for God and a commitment to making a difference in our community. This commitment led us to start A.G.A.P.E Chicago 773 NFP, which seeks to embody God's agape love and bring hope to those in need. Our belief in the power of outreach stems from our own personal experience. Our family was positively impacted when another family reached out to our family in the middle of a crisis and presented us with hope through the love of Christ. This experience has inspired us to do the same for others in our community. We believe in the power of community outreach and are committed to working with other not for profit organizations and religious organizations to make a difference in the lives of those in our community.

We are committed to spreading hope and making a positive impact in the lives of those in need in our community. Through spiritual support, crisis support counseling services, mentorship, and connections to resources, we aim to offer comfort and healing to those with limited resources who are facing difficulties. Our goal is to lay the foundation for strong, God-fearing individuals, so that future generations may flourish. With a heart for compassion and a passion for community outreach, we strive to bring light to the darkness and offer a helping hand to those who need it the most.
Our Goals
A.G.A.P.E. Chicago 773 NFP is committed to our mission of embodying God's agape love and bringing hope to those in need. As we serve our community through crisis support, spiritual support, counseling services, mentorship, and connections to other resources, we also have a vision of opening a recreational center. This center will serve the Chicago and veteran communities, offering a space for recreation, wellness, and social connection. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can come together, heal, and thrive. We believe that this center will have a positive impact on the lives of those we serve and help us lay the foundation for a stronger, more connected community. As we move forward, we also recognize the importance of building connections and working closely with other not for profit organizations that are making a difference in the community. Our goal is to collaborate and strengthen our collective impact, leveraging our resources and expertise to create a brighter future for all. Whether through opening the recreational center or through our ongoing programs and services, our aim is to bring people together and make a lasting impact through the love of God in the lives of those we serve.
Our Services
Our services aim to provide impoverished communities with various forms of including spiritual guidance, mobility, outreach, cohesion, support, stability, purpose, and advancement, through the lens of God's agape love. This approach involves a combination of activities such as providing access to resources, educational programs, counseling, and community building activities that promote social and emotional well-being, as well as spiritual growth.
Crisis Support Services
Our crisis support services are designed to provide immediate assistance and support to individuals in the community who are experiencing a mental health crisis, emotional distress, or any other urgent situation that requires immediate attention. The services we provide can be accessed through our organization by phone, text, online chat, or in-person and are typically available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These services are provided by trained professionals, volunteers, or a combination of both. Our goal in crisis support services is to help the community better manage their immediate crisis, provide emotional and spiritual support, and connect them with additional resources or services as needed. Our crisis support services also focus on supporting individuals in the community during their recovery process.
Family Services
Our family services provides a range of various programs and support services that are designed to help the families in our community to improve their well-being and overcome different challenges they might be facing. These services may include but are not limited to counseling, education, training, financial assistance, and any other resources that may help the families in the community to build and maintain healthy relationships, develop parenting skills, and meet basic needs. The ultimate goal of our family services is to help families become self-sufficient, resilient, and able to navigate through life's challenges with God's agape love. By providing families with the necessary tools and resources that they need to succeed, our family services can help improve the overall health, spiritual life, and well-being of individuals, families, and our community.
Veteran Services
Our not-for-profit organization is dedicated to providing essential support to veterans, including mental health services that encompass a variety of therapeutic approaches. Our services are designed to help veterans improve their overall well-being and quality of life by providing access to different resources and therapies, including but not limited to art therapy, physical exercise, gardening, sports, crocheting, and spiritual support. Our goal is to partner with individuals in the community to create a supportive environment where veterans can connect with others, build relationships, and find renewed purpose and meaning in their lives. We believe that by offering a wide range of services, we can help veterans achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives after their service. Our focus is on creating a safe and welcoming environment that supports the unique needs of veterans, and we are committed to providing compassionate care that helps them reach their full potential.
Community Outreach Services
Our community outreach services is compiled of many programs and activities that focus to connect with and support individuals, families, and our community in need. Our services typically include but are not limited to engaging with community members to identify needs, providing education and resources through our organizations or our connections, and building strong cohesive partnerships with other organizations to better serve the community. The goal of our community outreach services is to improve the quality of life for people in the community, particularly those who are most vulnerable or disadvantaged. By providing spiritual guidance, support, resources, and education, our community outreach services will help build a stronger, more resilient community that is better equipped to face the challenges of everyday life.

This approach by our team has proven to be highly effective in this fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Our team has been able to persevere through their own personal challenges and setbacks, so we are confident they will do the same when providing aid to the communities we support. They have been pushed and encouraged to think creatively and have been empowered to take risks, which will in turn generate new and innovative solutions to the very complex problems our impoverished communities face. We have carefully picked a team that is passionate about their work and that is committed to achieving their goals so that they can be highly effective and inspiring to those in their sphere of influence and within community. A combination of of all of these factors makes our team in this organization truly special, enabling them to achieve great things and make a meaningful impact where it matters through God's agape love.

Our Partners
Support Us
Our resell shop is a critical part and heart of our mission. All of the income generated through the resell shop is invested back into our organization, the community we serve, and other not-for-profit organizations making a difference. The income will also be used for the funding of our future community and veteran recreational center. We are currently accepting gently used or new donations from all around the Chicagoland area. Any items that don't get sold are not wasted; they are saved and given back to the community, whether to the homeless, our veterans, or families in need. We believe in the power of community outreach, and our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. We are proud to be a business with a purpose, and we are grateful for your support as we work to bring comfort, healing, and hope to those who need it most.
